Technology Guards the "Blue Granary": Underwater Robot Empowers Intelligent Inspection of Offshore Ranch Net Cages
The underwater robot has been put into regular inspection work of offshore ranch net cages, building a solid "intelligent barrier" for the safe operation of deep-sea aquaculture facilities and promoting the upgrading of offshore ranch farming models towards refinement and intelligence.
Compared with traditional manual diving inspection methods, the underwater robot is equipped with a high-definition camera system, sonar detection module and stress sensor, which can accurately complete the whole-process inspection tasks such as net cage frame flaw detection, netting damage inspection and attachment monitoring in complex ocean current environments. It can transmit high-definition underwater images and data in real time, facilitating the health assessment of net cages. It not only avoids the high risks and low efficiency of manual diving, but also breaks through the environmental limitations such as water depth and visibility to realize uninterrupted operations.
