1. General Description

       FD-F750M and FD-F750M-LR are miniature 2D forward-looking multi-beam imaging sonars, which deliver acoustic vision ahead of the vehicle platform in both clear and turbid water to realize target detection & identification, collision avoidance and obstacle probing functions.

       Both models are upgraded derivatives developed from our proven FD-F750EL forward-looking sonar. They maintain comparable core performance to FD-F750EL while featuring substantially reduced costs and selling prices, alongside reduced overall dimension, weight and power consumption.

        FD-F750M and FD-F750M-LR can be configured in either single-frequency or dual-frequency modes. The FD-F750M covers optional operating frequencies ranging from 375 kHz to 1.2 MHz, delivering a maximum detection range of 200 m at 375 kHz and 50 m at 1.2 MHz. Optimized for low-frequency long-distance deployment, the FD-F750M-LR supports selectable frequencies between 200 kHz and 700 kHz, with a maximum detection range of 300 m at 200 kHz and 130 m at 700 kHz; this variant comes with slightly larger dimensions and heavier weight. Apart from the above differences, the two models share nearly identical performance parameters, and adjustable vertical beamwidth is available for single-frequency configuration.
