Technical Specification

1. General Description

     The FD-F750M and FD-F750M-LR miniature forward-looking sonars are 2D forward-looking multi-beam imaging sonars. They deliver acoustic vision ahead of the vehicle in clear or turbid water, enabling target detection and identification, collision avoidance and obstacle detection.

    Both FD-F750M and FD-F750M-LR are available in single-frequency or dual-frequency configurations and developed on the same platform. The FD-F750M supports selectable frequencies ranging from 375kHz to 1.8MHz. Its maximum detection range reaches 200m at 375kHz and 70m at 1.2MHz. The FD-F750M-LRA is optimized for low-frequency and long-range applications, with selectable frequencies from 200kHz to 700kHz. It achieves a maximum detection range of 300m at 200kHz and 130m at 700kHz, with slightly larger size and heavier weight. Apart from this difference, the two models share basically the same performance specifications. Vertical beam angle is adjustable for single-frequency configuration.

   The standard models have a maximum operating depth of 300m or 1.5km. Versions rated for 500m and 3000m are available. Please contact our company directly if required.
